Good turn out today, some of the usual suspects, Dom, Rupert and Paul, and a few new faces for me anyway, Brett, Gareth, Stephan and Ben (legend for doing it on a fixie)...
Good flying lap at the end 28mins 30secs give or take the usual 10min discrepancy due to garmin deficiencies
Matt, next week sir... |

| More training for me too! I hate having to scrape my lungs of the handlebars after each ride... ruins my bar tape |

Good ride today guys - thanks. Shame about the traffic in a few places.
Specially well done to Brett and Gareth - as Greg Lemond said - "it doesn't get easier...you just get faster." |

Hectic; Started off with a 5 mile run with some intervals and I came home to discover my Garmin was crocked. Quick call to Garmin and they offered to refurb it for £50. That's the second time its happened now prior to a KW debut ride; last time on the even of a club run my GPS device got run over. Twice. Does anyone have the ride data to quench my stat crunching?
I'm with Brett & Stefan; my legs were burning heading towards Broomfield on that final lap. What club run pace would that last lap have been?
Thanks for all the input today as well chaps! It's greatly appreciated. |

Good ride all, but like Rupert i only saw part of it Either i'm getting slower or you're all getting quicker? Tried to catch up on last lap after getting dropped on Broomfield, but had to admit defeat at Richmond Gate & ride back with my jellyfied legs to Addlestone. Paul Weller, Eton Rifles, "i'll be back next week..." |

Paul W from Woking (well Addlestone is in the Borough of Woking) quoting 1979 Jam lyrics, is there something we should know. The only previously recorded interest in cycling by the Modfather was the My Ever Changing Moods video (I think it was that one) where he wobbled around with Mick Talbot during his Style Council phase. |

My 28:30 was a guesstimate... so we'll take 28:12... a big effort next week coupled with some good through and off we should break 28mins... |

I'm probably in for this as I can't race at Palace in the evening. Also need some practice for the RP TT on Sunday. _________________ Blogging
