The first Saturday club 10 is scheduled for 7/8/10 and due to be on the G10/42 @14.00.
The spectre of roadworks still looms over the G10/42, however if the roadworks have started the event will simply move to the "new" club 10 course starting at Beare Green, either way there will be a 10 run.
If you want to ride please enter your name to the list below;

Excellent finally a club 10 I can enter. During the week I have to collect the baba. I have unfinished business with the course after getting a puncture the last time. Riding road also. _________________ "Ride more" |

from Frank, today;
OK Folks
This is for the two remaining club 10’s on Saturday’s 7th & 28th August
I hope the response is good, it will make a change from charging up and down the A24 and you won’t climb that stinking hill just after the start, in fact I think your times will be very favourable indeed.
The start of the event is 14-00hrs, you will start at one minute intervals and contrary to earlier info regarding this course, a rear light is not compulsory, but might I remind you of the London South recommendation.
“It is recommended that a working rear light, either flashing or fixed be fitted to the machine in a position clearly visible to following road users whilst the machine is in use.”
The HQ
Will be at Beare Green Village Hall car park, the hall will not be open but we have permission to use their car park.
If travelling south on A24 turn right across carriageway signed Beare Green Village into Horsham Road, first right after railway bridge into Merebank then first right again into car park. (small entrance).
The Start
From the HQ it is mile to the start, back to Horsham Road then right and cross carriageway to Beare Green RBT then 3rd exit A29 to start 123 yard from RBT.
Special Requests
As this is a main road I request no warming up in the vicinity of the start, there is some waste ground at the start were riders should wait for their turn to start, might I also request just the one rider on the start line and his minute man be waiting on the A29.
After Finishing
Do not stop, but continue back to the HQ, approx 2 miles.
and the course is:
Start on A29, 123 yards South West of Beare Green RBT, at first kerbstone after entrance to farm by large MOT direction sign. Continue on A29 to Northlands Farm junction. SHARP LEFT into Marches Road and proceeed to junction with A24 Kingsfold. LEFT and follow A24 to Clark ’s Green RBT Straight on and finish 334 yards after Cole’s Lane junction, opposite a square drain in the gutter of the South bound carriageway |

Just a quick note to confirm that tomorrow's Club 10 TT is on. There are only about a dozen riders in total; so please sign on with Frank Cubis (Kingston Phoenix) who will then give you your start time. First rider is off at 1400.
The HQ is situated at the Beare Green Village Hall - Frank will be loitering in the car park from 1300!

| So I was supposed to be taking it easy before the RP 10 mile TT on sunday, but now with the club course record up for grabs I should go for it! |

Hi Danny
I'm not sure what my kids etc have in store for me tomorrow, but is it ok to enter on the line if it turns out I'm surplus to requirements and can escape for an hour or two?
