Hi,just a little warning to everyone,on tues about 4.25pm at the end of the barge walk at hampton court bridge some complete arsehole who shouldnt have been parked up their anyway decided to do a 3 point turn in front of me and i nearly ended up going straight into the side of him!

A few choice words were exchanged eitherway and i proceeded on down through thames ditton thinking nothing of it.All of a sudden this twat in a silver alfa romeo(didnt get the reg no)with his small son in tow came up behind me knocking my back wheel and cutting me up,knocking me off my bike and up onto the pavement! He then threatened to kill me and rip my head off!Not giving up their, he then proceeded to chase me but i got away!

This bloke was a complete idiot and psyco and needs to be caught before he kills someone! No body has any cctv footage of the car according to the police i just wish i had caught a glimpse of the reg no!Il be keeping a good eye out for him from now on along with the met police, and what a good example to be setting to your young son you w****r! Sad

That sounds pretty awful. Sad Some real nutjobs out there in cars, too bad there were no witnesses!

Were you in club kit btw?

Maryka- That's my point!

had he been wearing his Canadien jersey and carrying a hockey stick, he would have been much safer!

I keep my mobile phone with me when riding and I've had to use it in the past to make a note of a registration plate. First thing I did when I got hit in March.

I was wearing my club thermal top, which got all scuffed. It is added to the insurance claim that is currently being argued over.

Sorry to hear about the aggro.

Unbelievable. What a shining example to his son - it's just so petty as well. So much for natural selection, eh?

I was cycling home tonight and near enough in the same spot in Hampton Court were two vehicles in the middle of the left hand lane (one white van man!) and two cyclists. There had obviously been an accident and one of the cyclists started squaring up to one of the drivers, driving his forehead into his face. Confused Christ knows what that solves.

I think it would be safer all round just not to react to the idiots on the road. Reacting just brings down the 'red mist' and provokes them to behave in an even more dangerous manner as evidnet here. These people obviously have life issues and holier than thou cyclists are an easy target to vent their frustrations. Ranting at people isn't going to change their behaviour.
