Triathlon and Duathlon

The club has a significant amount of members who are into triathlon and duathlon, from GB squad members to beginners. Whether they are existing triathletes who have joined the club to enjoy and improve their cycling more, or they're traditional cyclists looking for a new challenge, plenty of members are spending their spare time in the pool or running as well.

Our cycling expertise, from practical experience to dedicated coaching and advice, means you can get more out of your cycling, whether it's practicing in time trials like our Club 10 series, or racking up some endurance from our club runs or Alpine training trips.

To find out more get in touch with the club. You can read accounts of the British Ironman and the Kenmare 'Lost Sheep' Half Ironman here.

Mountain Biking

The club's main activities are on the road but plenty of members ride mountain bikes too. Indeed, many several members spend the winter riding cyclo cross and compete in MTB races in the summer, from the local Gorrick series to the ABSA Cape Epic in South Africa.

If you're interested in joining and want to ride off road, it's true to say that we can't offer the same range of riding that you'd find on road. There aren't big trips abroad or regular Sunday rides. But you'll be able to join a progressive club that's really keen to welcome MTB riders.
