We advise riding through the first night and Thursday to Machynlleth (400 km); Friday up to Anglesey and back down to Welshpool (315 km); return home on Saturday (310 km). SUMMARY:John Bornhoft Memorial Hill Climb 2026
DESCRIPTION:The club’s annual open hill climb is held on the slopes of Leith Hill. This is now a well established event and enables the club to put something back in to the local racing scene and at the same time remember John Bornhoft who was a President of the Kingston Wheelers CC until his death in 2003 and a regular on both club runs and races well into his retirement. The race is held in his memory and is a tribute to his work for the club and is a well supported event\, both with vocal Kingston Wheelers CC support on the course and a large field of riders.\nThe course uses the southern road up from Forest Green.
