SUMMARY:John Bornhoft Memorial Hill Climb 2026
DESCRIPTION:The club’s annual open hill climb is held on the slopes of Leith Hill. This is now a well established event and enables the club to put something back in to the local racing scene and at the same time remember John Bornhoft who was a President of the Kingston Wheelers CC until his death in 2003 and a regular on both club runs and races well into his retirement. The race is held in his memory and is a tribute to his work for the club and is a well supported event\, both with vocal Kingston Wheelers CC support on the course and a large field of riders.\nThe course uses the southern road up from Forest Green.

SUMMARY:John Bornhoft Memorial Hill Climb
DESCRIPTION:Named after former club president\, the John Bornhoft Memorial Hill Climb takes place every September on the mighty Leith Hill in Surrey. It has seen some big names in the world of British hill climbing take part over the years including national champions Bithja Jones\, Andrew Feather\, Tejvan Pettinger and Maryka Sennema. This is an open event so we encourage riders from any club or level to take part.
