It takes place on the first Saturday of August and is open to all racers\, but previous track experience and a race licence are essential. Categories for youth\, men and women and four different race formats for each. If you don’t race\, it’s free to come and watch\, so join us for an exciting day of track racing.

DESCRIPTION:A great opportunity to ride the Olympic track with two dedicated coaches. We normally do some skills and then some fun races\, all arranged in groups according to experience. This is aimed at anyone\, from those who have never ridden a fixed gear bike\, to others who have been on track a lot of times and want to join in for fun. DESCRIPTION:The annual Herne Hill Velodrome skills day\, exclusive to club members and suitable for all. \nTicket includes a coached 2 hour session. The event is suitable for all levels. For Novice riders you’ll get used to starting and stopping\, before progressing on to the track and learning basic drills. To progress\, or with a more confident groups\, HHV will develop bunch riding skills\, intermediate techniques and even run some mock races. \nHire bikes are included\, please bring suitable clothing including helmet and gloves which are mandatory on track. \nPlease add your name to the forum here to sign up.
