SUMMARY:Surrey League Dunsfold Road Races
DESCRIPTION:The Surrey League season openers traditional take place on the first weekend in March on the Dunsfold circuit. We return with a Women’s Cat 2/3 race in the morning followed by a Men’s Cat 2/3 in the afternoon. It’s a big club effort to host these races\, with many volunteers needed to run the event. At over 1\,000 km and 13\,000 m of ascent across Somerset\, Devon and Cornwall in both directions\, it’s an epic – are you up for the challenge? \nLLEL is an X-RATED EVENT! 10pm start time. We advise riding through the first night and Thursday to St Austell (420k); Friday down to Lands End and back to Exeter (299k); return home on Saturday (308k). Use Travelodges or similar. The event starts and finishes at 19th Wimbledon Scouts Hall where we’ll serve a pasta party to send you off with a full tummy\, and where a barrel of the local Park Brewery’s finest will be on tap at the arrivée.
