The club’s annual open hill climb is held on the slopes of Leith Hill. This is now a well established event and enables the club to put something back in to the local racing scene and at the same time remember John Bornhoft who was a President of the Kingston Wheelers CC until his death in 2003 and a regular on both club runs and races well into his retirement. The race is held in his memory and is a tribute to his work for the club and is a well supported event, both with vocal Kingston Wheelers CC support on the course and a large field of riders.
The course uses the southern road up from Forest Green.
