Trails’n’Ales

June 1 @ 7:00 am

£20.00

To celebrate our Centenary Pale Ale with The Park Brewery we are hosting a 100km gravel ride in Surrey and an afterparty at the taproom to launch the beer.

All profits from the event will be donated to Full Cycle Community Bike Project in New Malden whose mission is that every person, from all walks of life, should have access to their own affordable bike.

All riders taking part will receive a complimentary half of Pale Ale at the finish, a “Shredding the Gnar” Gravel Patch and entered into a draw to win Alpkit and Le Col goodies.

Gravel Ride

The meeting point is Alpkit Kingston for roll out between 7-8am. We’ll have a bag drop at the start and transfer bags to The Park Brewery for the finish.

The route will be a bit of a Surrey classic taking in Peaslake, Leith Hill and Stane Street. With plenty of off-roading, we recommend a suitable bike with gravel tyres that can handle a bit of mud.

It’s a self-supported ride, so make sure you are equipped with tools, spare tubes and a bit of cash in case you need to bail out.

There will be an official coffee stop along the route and we’ll finish back at The Park Brewery taproom where there will be food on sale and a chance to sample our new Centenary Pale Ale.

We are currently planning the route and will send out the GPX the week before the ride to everyone who has signed up.

Taproom Party

We’ll be kicking off the party from 1pm at The Park Brewery taproom.

There will be food available and of course plenty of beers to sample from The Park Brewery’s excellent line-up.

Even if you’re not riding you can still come on down and crack a beer with us to celebrate the Centenary.

There is bike parking outside at the brewery, but we recommend bringing a cafe lock.

Full Cycle Community Bike Project

An important community-run project we are supporting this year, which aims to give people from all backgrounds access to affordable cycling by giving old bikes new life.

Gary and the team will be along on the day to offer bike maintenance and chat about the project and how you can get involved.

All profits will go towards the on-going running of this great project, which relies on volunteers to keep it going.
