Trails’n’Ales Vol.2 – Rumble in the Cronx

The second edition of our fund-raising gravel on Saturday was a certified success. 75 riders set off from Alpkit in Kingston following the River Wandle to Croydon before hitting the North Downs and back via some of Surrey’s greatest hits.

We finished with an afterparty at The Park Brewery taproom, with local favourites The Dough Shack providing pizza, and an iconic stage of the Giro d’Italia up on the big screen (Chapeau, Simon Yates).

Big thanks to everyone who signed up and helped us raise a total £2,600 for Full Cycle Community Bike Project, which helps ensure everyone has access to a bicycle, and Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance, which recently helped out one of our members during a crash on a ride.

Kudos to members Harry, Hans, Phil, Chris and Dharmesh who devised the route and ran the event. Plus Mark, Joe and Robbie who helped document the event on the day capturing some excellent photos and video.
